So I know this game dragged on and on, but I am so proud that I got to final 2. [Probably the type of proud that'll put people off but I can't help it]
I had quite the journey. Getting evicted, coming back to the game (#masochist), dealing with crazy people.
I had little power in the game, as I was in the voting minority for Jean/McCrae, Dominic/Shane, Porsche/Andrew, Elissa/Dominic...
All this time I knew Porsche and Rachel needed to be taken care of. I tried SO HARD to fill you guys in. Even when I was evicted and put Elissa and Andrew head-to-head in the following HoH comp, it was intentional. I was hoping for you guys to see that, "Wow, no one put Rachel and/or Porsche to face off against each other or anybody else. Maybe they should be taken out."
I had this weird infatuation with Rachel though, so my target was more on Porsche (sorry hun <3). Which in hindsight I regret because Porsche forgave me 3 times this game when I tried to go after her (and failed at doing so). So my hope was more for you guys to take care of Rachel lol.
The opportunity presented itself at final 8! To take out one of the most influential people in the game. But by a 3-2 vote, the house #lolfailed and threat Andrew was eliminated from the game.
Then Rachel, very inspired by Ian's HoH, goes ape shit on me [and Dominic] for voting out Porsche, creates this OTT HoH room, and exposes me and Dominic's plea to save ourselves to burn our bridges with all the other houseguests.
Bitches, that's what Rachel and Porsche have been doing since week 1.
The people I was trying to help advance in the game (namely Elissa, but Jessie as well) just kind of coldly watched as Rachel completely destroyed me.
So at that point, I had to rely on competition wins. I knew I HAD to win Final 7 veto (competitive reasons) and Final 6 HoH (strategic reasons).
I accomplished both goals, and instead of going after Rachel and Porsche, like I've been wanting to this entire game, I created a final 3 veterans alliance with them. It literally made no sense going after Rachel/Porsche at final 6 just to have Rachel/Porsche come after me the following week with Elissa/Jessie/Jack sitting there content with me getting evicted.
I also made a f2 with Rachel at final 6. It helped to have Rachel's trust to coerce Porsche into having an all vet final 3.
So I did what I had to do to make it here. And I'm glad I won Final HoH to prove that I am unafraid and capable of battling and defeating Rachel/Porsche.
Also, even though this season took forever, I did enjoy it a lot. And this series will always have a special place in my heart. I never thought I would be able to have a track record of 1st (season 5), 3rd (season 8), 3rd (season 11), and now 1st/2nd (season 14). But it does show me I'm very capable of whatever I set my mind to, and that I should stop doubting myself so much lol.
It would also be cool to be the winner of the first and second "Freshmeat" twist installments. Just saying
To Rachel - this season's been absolutely CRAZY. Such a roller coaster with our history. Given that every time we played together in the past, we were adversaries (and I get you out pre-jury each time *points and laughs*). Jk
But I think it's awesome to see that when we work together, it really works. I'm glad we were finally able to trust each other in a game (despite that hiccup at final 7) and to see where it took us. And look! It took us to final 2! So no regrets on how this whole season played out.
I could talk more, but I'm already over this whole experience.
