Week One

As the Power of Veto holder, Shane, you have the chance to change the course of the week and potentially save a nominee from leaving this game. You will have 24 hours to make a decision on whether or not to use the veto. Porsche, as current HOH, you will need to name a replacement if the veto is used. Afterward everyone but Porsche, and her 2 nominees will create a thread in their diary room solely for eviction votes and cast a vote for one of the nominees. Remember you MUST leave goodbye messages for BOTH nominees for your vote to count. (Porsche and the nominees may leave goodbyes if they wish) Failure to follow instructions will prohibit you from competing in next week's Head of Household competition. Good luck everyone!

Sorry to post this here but I wanted to make sure everyone sees it!

Not only does my boyfriend leave for China in about 48 hours, but I just interviewed for an out of state job and got a call back saying that I'm their top candidate and I need to go back for another interview tomorrow. It's possible that I will have to move in the next two weeks if I get this job. Needless to say, this has been a busy week for me.

Please don't take my lack of AIM time as an indicator of my desire to play in this game. I have every intention of upping my presence once this week settles! I knew the bf was leaving, which was why I agreed to play in the first place, but I had no clue that, after 4 years, I'd finally get this close to a good job in my field.

Best of luck to the nominees, and congrats Shane. Sorry for stealing your ceremony.

Welcome to the first Veto meeting of the season. As holder of the P.O.V. (Power of Veto) I have the ability to save one of the nominees from eviction.

Before I announce my decision, I just want to say that I know it’s hard to not let a victory like this go to a player’s head…so I’m going to try and be as humble as possible and not let a simple win boost my ego or narcissism.
