Well it is Week 2 in the Recycled house and here I am again. Playing yet another season where the house is inevitably going to split down the middle. Was there ever any question? Of course it's just funny because this is my third season playing and in Recycled history there have been tame seasons, yet everytime I play, I manage to end up in the BB6 style house where the roof blows off. The same seems to be occurring.
Basically I got cockblocked in HoH. Which kinda sucked. I wanted to win HoH to go ahead and notch a win under my belt. (This time I plan to win AND break my competition record ) I would have played it safe. No reason for me not to, but in hindsight I'm glad Ian is HoH instead.
The situation right now is that "Shane" more than likely James directing Shane, (Lol if I am giving James too much credit) are speculating there is an alliance between David, Elissa, Me, with Ian and Porsche involved as the heads of the snake. Porsche texted me and told me she thinks Adria is the rat and that Andrew is her information source. Jack already told me about it so we have two sources right now of their counter alliance, which consists of Andrew, Jack, and Jessie. How hilarious that 2/3 have already sold them out. The real key is learning who the rat is, whether that is Adria or Jessie or even both. This is something Shane has thought since first HoH so who really knows.
I do find what James/Shane are doing to be very premature. Apparently James/Shane are still sketched out by my HoH score and that's why they are weary of me, but I find this so foolish on their part. They already have a lot of attention on themselves + Dominic. Instead of trying to keep up this Veteran faction, they are creating a split, but not just any split, a split against two of the most social players in the game. Going for the top two players in an HoH competition based on social skills is so far from logical. As you can already see - the information is bound to loop right back to them. Of course I wouldnt doubt some of mine and Porsche's info getting looped, but I just think it's so foolish to create factions when A) Newbs want to turn Vets against each other (and if it's Adria, she wants it to play the middle) and B) The people you are going against are the people you are going to need down the road.
Idk maybe I just feel it's too early for a house split, but I just find it very poor strategy. Of course I see this as something detrimental to my game so I'm not going to like it, but if it were me, I'd send out tidbits of information that I didn't find to be extremely pertinent or unsettling to other houseguests as a way to monitor the flow of information, and then use that as a basis to form an alliance. Not just scoop up three noobs and use half truths to instill fear into them as a recruitment technique. As I see it, Shane and James will always be prime targets (why do you guys think I have taken an UTR approach week 1, while still actively playing the game) and it's not wise to make their targets that much larger. If anything it's dragging us all down, and they don't even have numbers to accomplish what they want to accomplish. Le sigh~
I think Porsche will end up flipping James and I with her swapper, since I'm such an easy backdoor option, and now it's not like Porsche has a reason against it, even if she does want to distance herself from me. I'm annoyed. Not because of the circumstances but because I don't think it's going to benefit anyone except people like Jamie and Jean who are borderline inactive. Jean was just nominated and didn't compete. Seriously? Ugh. And she will make it farther than someone actually playing the game. I guess the same can be said for McCrae, but it is still sad.
